What a claim does, and what it does not
- It records the claim
- The payout address is marked claimed, with the signature stored beside it so the proof is auditable later rather than taken on trust.
- It lets you set the display name
- Assay derived localhost:4022 from your first host. A claimed listing carries the name you choose instead.
- It does not change a single measurement
- Verification figures, prices, defects and reviews are unaffected. They come from calls Assay made and payments the chain recorded, and a claim cannot edit either. Claiming a listing that reports a price mismatch does not remove the mismatch.

- Removal is a separate mechanism — the opt-out list that also stops paid probing.
